Orange Test and Dev Day, Grenoble, France

STAMP has been invited to join and showcase its tool suite at Orange Test and Dev Day

Orange organizes an annual event dedicated to developers and testers, taking place in several Orange sites.
This "Dev and test" day includes presentations, use cases and success stories, as well as tech workshops, gathering both speakers from Orange and external invited participants. Around 180 participants will attend. 

STAMP is happy to join and share its results after three years of R&D with Orange teams. The presence will include: 

  • one Tech Workshop (2 hours)
  • one short presentation (10 min of stand présentation during lunch time).

Castor Software Days in Stockholm KTH Campus

Organized by the CASTOR software research center, the first edition of the CASTOR Software Days will be held at KTH, Stockholm, from Monday the 14th to Wednesday the 16th of October, 2019. Several STAMP project partners are involved in the program designed for software researchers, engineers and students to exchange about cutting-edge software technology in three areas:

  • DevOps - Automation from continuous integration to runtime operations,
  • Safety and Security - Hardening the software stack,
  • Large-Scale Distributed Systems - Operations and data analysis at scale.

The days will mix keynotes, academic and industry talks, demos, lightning talks and student events.

At Tallinn 10th A-TEST workshop, the STAMP project is represented by Franck Chauvel (SINTEF) presenting the latest release of CAMP (configuration testing).
Co-located with ESEC/FSE, this edition offers popular hands-on sessions where testing tools can be studies in depth. Researchers and software testers from the industry exchange and discuss trending views, ideas, state of the art work in progress, and scientific results on Automated Testing.

Then Oscar Luis Vera Pérez details Extreme Mutation examples using Descartes, an outcome of the STAMP Project, based on PITest to offer faster mutation analysis results. The EC-DG INFORMATICS Software Engineering team seizes this opportunity to ask technical questions about DevOps mutation testing to improve their own Java test environment.

DSpot meetup in Stockholm

Title: DSpot: Improved software testing using AI
Speaker: Professor Benoit Baudry (KTH)

DSpot analyzes existing test cases and automatically generates variants of these test cases. The variants cover more execution paths and observe more states than the original tests. These tests are meant to be used in the context of regression testing. DSpot can be integrated in the continuous integration to spot issues related to one commit as early as possible.
